Greg Crawley
Owner & Founder The Building Company, US & Sister CompaniesKnown to many as “Coach,” Greg Crawley has spent over 40 years in the Construction and Development industry. From humble beginnings with a hammer in hand, Coach climbed the ranks with dedication and skill, earning a reputation for both craftsmanship and leadership.
His early business ventures included Fine Cabinetry, Luxury Mouldings, Circular Stairbuilding, Complex Framing, Structural and Decorative Concrete, and Design Hardwood Flooring. These ventures laid the foundation for his deep understanding of both the artistic and structural sides of construction.
Over the years, Coach has gained extensive experience in remodeling, new construction, commercial and residential projects. He has served as a General Contractor in single-family, multi-family, light and heavy commercial, and even light industrial projects.
Coach credits his strong foundation to the teachings of an old Dutch craftsman named Pete, who mentored him in his early years. Those lessons, rooted in tradition and precision, still guide his approach to the business today.
With an impeccable eye for design, a practical mindset for execution, and decades of hands-on trade experience and entrepreneurial drive, Coach has carved out a unique and respected space in the construction industry.
Sam Crawley
VP of Custom Homebuilding Tottenham Building Company, LLCSam has been going to work with his dad for as long as he can remember. He laid his first hardwood floor before his 8th birthday in the family home. As a kid, many of his afternoons after school were spent grading out yards and doing excavation work—well before he was even a teenager.
Years ago, their father, lovingly referred to as "Coach," challenged his sons to build one house in their lifetime from the ground up, just like he did when he was young. The boys accepted the challenge and completed it with pride—building a home they eventually sold. From dirt to rooftop, every stick and brick, even the plumbing and wiring, was done by them. While it’s not something they plan to make a habit of, it remains one of the most impressive accomplishments for any builder to claim.
As the older brother, Sam has always taken on a leadership role on the job site. Today, he continues in that role by managing both Remodel and New Construction projects and assisting in managing other team projects as well.
Sam brings extensive hands-on experience in all trades, combined with the knowledge to navigate the office side of things. While he plans to eventually take over the reins from his father, for now, he remains his right-hand man—ensuring Tottenham Building Company operates at the high standard it’s known for.
TBC – Our Luxury Home Building and Remodel Division is a full-service custom homebuilding and luxury renovation company. We guide our clients from the initial design phase all the way to project completion, using a mix of trusted subcontractors and skilled in-house professionals.
One of the key features that sets TBC apart in the industry is our exclusive in-house cabinetry and millwork, crafted in our very own cabinet shop. This unique capability allows us to deliver unmatched quality and custom finishes in every home we build or renovate.
John Smith
Head of Project Management & Business Development Crawley Development Group, LLCJohn holds a Psychology degree from Tulane University and a law degree from DuQuene University, where he graduated with honors. Despite his legal education, John found his true passion in Homebuilding.
He began a 40-year career in Production Homebuilding, working with some of the nation’s largest production builders. Throughout his career, he consistently rose to leadership roles, earning promotions to some of the industry's highest positions.
After four decades in the field, John and his son Matt decided to pursue a long-time dream: starting their own custom home building company. The dream became reality, but unfortunately, circumstances changed when Matt’s father-in-law passed away, requiring Matt to relocate to a distant city—leaving John to continue on alone.
Not long after, Coach invited John to join Crawley Development Group as Head of Project Management and Business Development—a role in which John thrives today.
With over 55 years of industry experience, John has built and sold more than 4,200 homes. His unmatched experience and leadership continue to play a key role in the success of our multi-family and commercial operations.
Alfonso

In his early years, Alfonso worked directly on-site with his crews, mastering every aspect of the trade. Over time, he built a powerful team of more than 20 roofing crews, giving him the ability to handle projects of virtually any scale.
His combination of a winsome personality and firm, focused demeanor is what truly sets him apart—a balance that drives productivity and earns respect across all job sites. Alfonso is bilingual and excels in communicating with clients, teams, and subcontractors alike.
His immense hands-on experience is not only critical during the construction phase, but also during the bidding process. Alfonso’s keen insights into roofing challenges and costs bring a strategic edge to every proposal and plan.

Karthik Yenumula leads the engine room behind our Commercial and Residential Trades operations. His companies—The Paint & Drywall Company, The Concrete Company, and The Framing Company, US—are focused primarily on large-scale commercial projects such as apartments, townhomes, condominiums, and retirement facilities.
With over 25 years of experience in estimating and construction operations, Karthik has built a powerhouse back office team of more than 50 professionals. His team is capable of managing all critical behind-the-scenes services including marketing, sales support, estimating, scheduling, and accounting.
Karthik’s leadership ensures our project teams can concentrate fully on field execution, while the administrative and logistical backbone runs seamlessly. His team provides a one-punch solution to any construction company’s back office needs—boosting efficiency and ensuring all systems run like clockwork.
From blueprint to final invoice, Karthik and his team are the silent force that keeps operations smooth, professional, and scalable.

While he’s been quietly handling our design work for years, his recent official role marks a pivotal moment in our journey.
When Coach asked Stephen to formally join the leadership circle, Stephen didn’t hesitate. Their collaboration runs deep. As Coach often says, “Working with Stephen is like talking to myself with a degree in architecture. It’s so easy!”
